To get kids to want to brush their teeth is always a complicated mission. They like candy too much. The problem is that this can cause cavities at an early age. That is why we strongly recommend parents to bring their children for regular check ups and make sure that they have healthy teeth. We are used to treating kids, so we gently examine their new teeth and baby teeth and explain to our little patients how and why we are examining their teeth. We also ensure to teach them how to brush their teeth the best way to avoid having cavities at an early age.
Dental implants are a very useful resource to replace teeth that are missing or no longer needed. They are created to look and feel completely natural so you can forget that you have them. This treatment brings very little discomfort to the patient, as it is performed with local anesthesia to numb any pain.
- It helps create a youthful appearance.
- You will be able to have a beautiful and full smile. No longer will you have to feel insecure about your teeth.
- It does not damage the surrounding teeth.
- Chew food without pain.
- Implants are durable and have a long lifespan, rarely falling out or moving.
Wisdom Teeth generate problems almost always when they come out. You can feel unbearable pain, teeth moving without you knowing why, pain near your cheek, headaches, sore throats. Even swelling and redness in your gums.
But you don’t have to go through all those situations. We can have them removed for you so that we stop the discomfort.
Wisdom teeth appear when most of the teeth are already formed and they are left with no space. Wisdom teeth will then begin to push the rest of the teeth forward to make room, and that’s when problems begin.
Only after taking x-rays, can a dentist properly examine your wisdom teeth. Usually, wisdom teeth appear between the ages of 17 to 25 years, when we are in our early adulthood. This is why they are called “wisdom teeth” because they appear at an age where people are “wiser” than they were as children.
If they are causing you a lot of problems or pain as they come out, then it may be time for the dentist to surgically remove them. If you are unsure, it is better to come in for a consultation which is always a simple visit. In the first consultation, the patient’s mouth is examined, x-rays are taken. After your first consultation you can then decide whether extraction is the right choice for you.
